Email Overload

I get lots and lots of email. While it's pleasing that so many people find my webs interesting and useful, it's clear that I could easily make a full-time unpaid job out of answering my email! That's the problem of anyone who puts something useful on the Internet. So I have to be a bit ruthless.

A measure of how busy I am is the fact that I created this compression web in May 1996, but only got around to actually placing it online in August 1997!!

I will attempt to respond to every email, but it may sometimes take a few months. However, I do carefully archive every email that contains useful information, so be assured that if you send me corrections or material to be added to the web that it won't be lost.
